The Campership Fund

A limited number of campership spots are available for each week of camp. We encourage applicants to apply early to increase the chance that their first-choice week will be available.

KEC is dedicated to helping campers who would not otherwise be able to attend due to financial barriers.

Campers are accepted for subsidization through the Campership Fund on the basis of expressed need, or referral. Most of this money is raised through our church congregations, but campers do not need to attend a church to be eligible.

Applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis by the Campership Committee.

We can only subsidize each camper for one camp per summer. For Family Camp, please complete a separate application for each member.

Cancellation Policy
Please understand that as a non-profit camp, we run tight income/expense margins to keep camp as affordable as we can. As a result, we must uphold a cancellation policy to account for the cost of being ready to host camp. Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to the start date of your camp session is refundable less a $25 processing fee. Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of your camp session is non-refundable due to advance supply and staffing costs. Early dismissal from camp due to unanticipated health concerns or behavioural concerns are not eligible for a refund. Early departure from camp is not eligible for a refund.
