Bring-a-Buddy Bonus: Invite a buddy who has never been to KEC and we will give you each a $35 discount! Cannot be stacked or combined with Early Bird Bonus. Discounts are applied on Arrival Day.

For Younger Campers

Primary camp is a great choice for children who are first-time campers, or prefer a shorter week. We are very mindful of supporting these young campers in making friends, maintaining healthy eating and hygiene routines, and coping with homesickness.

Counselor-in-Training Program

Our CIT program includes a blend of traditional camp programming and learning sessions that expose campers to the leadership and childcare skills necessary to be a camp counselor.

Our Cancellation Policy

Please understand that as a non-profit camp, we run tight income/expense margins to keep camp as affordable as we can. As a result, we must uphold a cancellation policy to account for the cost of being ready to host camp. Cancellation up to 2 weeks prior to the start date of your camp session is refundable less a $25 processing fee. Cancellation less than 2 weeks prior to the start date of your camp session is non-refundable due to advance supply and staffing costs. Early dismissal from camp due to unanticipated health concerns or behavioural concerns are not eligible for a refund. Early departure from camp is not eligible for a refund.

The Campership Fund

KEC is dedicated to helping campers who would not otherwise be able to attend due to financial barriers. Campers are accepted for subsidization through the Campership Fund on the basis of expressed need, or referral. New for 2025: we are offering a maximum $100 credit per camper.

A limited number of campership spots are available for each week of camp. Apply early to increase the chance that your first-choice week will be available.

If your application is accepted, the Registrar will contact you to verify which available week you would like to register for.
A payment plan can be set up through the Registar if you are unable to pay the remaining camp balance up front.
Please note that our standard cancellation policy still applies for campers subsidized by Campership.

If your application is not accepted, the Registrar will reach out letting you know whether you have been waitlisted, or Campership is no longer available for the year.
